Unhappy Front Left Speaker Fell Off!

I had an unpleasant surprise yesterday. I had left my front driver's side door open while I was loading up some things in my driveway, probably 15 min. After finishing loading I got in and closed the door as I heard a strange sound and felt the door wasn't closing properly. It wasn't until then that I noticed the front left speaker (tweater) assembly had fallen off, was dangling by speaker wire and had fallen into the gap preventing the door from closing. It was surprising since I had no physical contact with the speaker so it's not clear how/why it fell off.

On the good side the plastic surrounding the speaker bent but didn't break. I couldn't see any damage so I just put it back in place on a notched peg/slot. Tested the sound and it's fine. On the bad side, the speaker assembly made a permanent mark in the plastic/vinyl on the upper front portion of the door - not quite a cut but a sharp indentation that won't go away. Fortunately it's near the hinge and isn't easily seen with the door closed.

The door was on the side of the sun so I suspect heating caused it to fall off. But it wasn't that hot (only about 75 deg F). I love Hondas/Acuras but this is my second issue and I'm not used to this. My radio and dashboard center display completely failed a month ago but was replaced, of course at no charge.

Check your tweaters to see if they are loose.

The same thing happened to me. I was lucky enough to see it hanging before potentially slamming it in the door. I re-attached it and it has fallen off once more. I am going to have them tighten it up the next time that I take it in for service.

i feel like acura used subpar glues when putting these things on, such as the acura label on the intercooler cover, and the door courtesy lights (dont think they even put any sort of glue on that but those fall off) and now tweeters...i understand this is a first year model, does anyone know if other acura first years had this many problems?
