emissions light/ sh-awd light
Hey guys i know there have been posts before but i just installed a cold air intake a few weeks ago and now this afternoon both my emissions and awd lights came on, turned it off and now its just the emissions light, is this related to the intake possibly and will it hurt my engine if i dont take care of this soon? thanks

Take the cold air intake off. Inspect the vacuum and boost hoses for kinks and str8n them out. If that's not the prob MAF issues possible that in the install might be unserviceable
Give it a few days tho. Before you startpulling stuff out, this light may go away on it's own.
Btw I think it's a hose kink. If anything.

What cel code are you throwing? I just recently started getting a p0325 code recently, which is a knock sensor issue, and the dealer is quoting 400 to fix it. I'm running a typhoon, ref lash, atop exhaust, any ideas?

I've been running those mods for some time now, with out any issues.
If I understand correctly the RDX operated fine before intake was added, WSPY noted moisture too.
I'd say the same as before, pull the intake off check the vac hoses, especially the ones running under the intake down by the tranny and to the back, and also around the heatsheild. I got a similar issues when I installed mine, turned out to be a kinked vac hose.. I hope that's the case for both of ya. Took 2-5 days for CEL to chill out.

I've been running the mods for 8k miles + so I don't think it's that. Running 91, as always, and the socal weather's not any hotter than usual. I'll check the hoses when I get back home and report back...

Took off the intake yesterday and checked all the hoses, couldn't find any hose kinks. Also disconnected my ECU for around 30 mins while I did this to reset it. After putting everything back together, let the car idle for around 10 mins, drove around for a couple miles and the light popped back on.
At this point, I'm thinking it is the sensor, any ideas on how difficult a job this is to switch out? I looked up the part (~$50-60) and the dealer is charging around $400. It does look to be in an awkward spot, so a couple of hours of work seems appropriate.
Any help you can offer would be great, thanks...

Change out knock sensor:

It should be almost the same. Doesn't look to difficult, especially since we have more clearance under the car.
