Diagnostic P2263 issue
Hi
While driving on the highway post filling gas I got two errors flash on the dash board- Check System Emmison and SH-AWD. Stopped the car and restarted and the SH-AWD error went away. Called the dealer and he mentioned that maybe the gas cap was not tightened(we did not recall hearing the clicking while turning the cap to close) and the error "Check System emmison" will go away with time and the SH-AWD was an error that maybe triggered by "check system emmison" error and in a few days will go away. Low and behold the System error persisted. dealer asked to have a diagnostic scan done and possibly the system will need to be reset. Well after 6 days finally got an appointment and the diagnostics indiacted P2263 Turbocharger Boost System Performance Problem.
Not sure how much it is going to cost me . Wondering if anyone has had this issue and what was done to remedy it.
Thanks in advance for your assistance

A clogged engine air filter can trigger this code. That is the first thing to check.
Then check all turbocharger hoses for leaks and security, in particular the hoses to the bypass control solenoid valve.
Then check the bypass control solenoid valve for proper functioning.

737 Jock- Thanks for your prompt response. Would anyone know approximately what is the charge for checking this and what would approximately be the cost if it is one of the hoses.
