My mirror was broken by a parking garage attendant who did not close the mirror as he lifted the car on one of those car elevators some parking garage use to double stack cars.
So the mirror experienced (hydraulic) downward force which it was not designed to withstand.
it broke this thick-ish plastic collar piece that goes between the mirror assembly and the bracket on the door.
see pics attached.
I am hoping this is like a standard piece used by Acura/Honda of that era.
can anyone tell me how to find it ?
could even get a 3D of it and 3D print it?
help appreciated.
Edit: please do not laugh at my comically sad mirror. 😂😂😂
I don't think that part can be purchased separately. You may be able to buy a mirror at a wrecking yard or a new one online.
I use these guys or print out the purchase order and take it to a local dealer ( mine honors it and matches price ) https://acura.oempartsonline.com/oem...ItM2wtbDQtZ2Fz
Sounds like the parking attendant owes you a new mirror, buy it from one of the online dealers to save some money or just take it to the dealer to get it fixed and send the parking company the bill, that's what insurance is for.
