Brakes Issues with 2009 Acura Rdx
I have a 2009 acura rdx with about 30k on it. From day 1 I feel the brakes are not strong enough- they have a very light feel to it and you have to press a lot for car to stop. Just wondering if this is normal or if acura has any recalls for this.

This is normal, and it's frustrating. It's an SUV that has undersized rotors and weak stopping power. An upgrade in brake pads and rotors would give you a much better braking experience than OEM.
Many members have gone with EBC green stuff or yellow stuff brake pads, and rotors. EBC offers a special green stuff pad for SUVs now http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A3376A0A0.aspx
I personally just ordered centric rotors and green stuff pads. I'm in the process of sourcing stainless steel brake lines to replace the rubber ones we have. These lines will help with the brake feel and give you firmer braking with less "spongy" feel. I have SS lines on my TSX.

Try this after the car has been sitting for a while:
Sit in the car with engine and key off. Slowly depress the brake pedal. It should travel down to the floor or close. Ease it back up. Depress it again. This time it should feel a little firmer and not travel so far. Each time you repeat, the pedal should feel firmer and travel shorter.
By the third or fourth push the pedal should feel very hard at the end of travel. If it feels squishy or a little spongy after 4 pushes there is air in the brake lines.
