My wife bought a base RDX on October 16. Since she bought the car we have taken it to service four times becuse of the "Brake System" warning lights keeps lighting up. The first two times the dealer said that the brakes where functioning properly and that the light was nothing. The third time they said they retrieved a code for a problem with a check valve in the exahust manifold (WTF) and that the problem was solved. 20 minutes after we picked up the car the light was on again. We took the car to the dealer yesterday and they still don't know what the problem is.

Has anybody out there had a similar problem?

Tell your dealer they likely need to do a software update to correct the problem.

Its in one of the ServiceNews bulletins....

New Software for HDS:
Version 2.006.019
During the week of November 27, 2006, each
Acura dealership was sent a new CD containing
HDS software version 2.006.019. This new CD
sports a dark blue label that reads HDS VER
2.006.019, and it’s dated November 2006. Your
system administrator should have this software
already loaded onto the master server.
Here’s some important info on 2.006.019:
• It includes software to fix a brake system
problem in ’07 RDXs.
• It enhances the Honda Interface Module
(HIM) user interface.
• It includes a memory enhancement to cut
down on problems with partial software
installation.
