Battery - again (and again)...

I had my battery replaced after 3 mos - and though that was the end of it.

Then 1-2 times I experienced a "no start"... all easily fixed with a jump, and no problems detected when looked at by the dealer.

Last month, it happened and wouldn't hold a charge any longer - and the battery was replaced again (now at about month 35). I mentioned the TSB and was told not the problem here.

Well, now I have a 1 month old battery that's dead again. Was able to jump it, and it looks like it's holding a charge.

So what was different in the last month? My other half was not driving the car - and not leaving the AUX cable plugged in.

Am I going crazy... is having a 3.5mm cable plugged in (just the cable - not the phone) enough to trip the radio out of sleep and drain the battery?

I'm going to try to monitor for the next few days VERY CAREFULLY, but I think this may be it? Any thoughts?

Thanks -
MJ

go to another dealer or write to Acura head office, thats f'ing ridiculous that they would say after going through 3 batts that nothing is wrong...

Have you tried turning off the surround sound enhancing feature thingy??

I have my Aux cable in all the time and have never had a problem with my battery. In fact I can't remember the last time I unplugged my Aux cable from the radio. Go somewhere else.
