All my lights turned on!!!

Hello guys I was driving down the road today when my 2008 RDX with 55,xxx miles engine light, sh-awd, and vsa lights came on. When I stopped at a red light and then hit the gas paddle the car wouldn't rev above 3000 and all the power is being sent to the front wheels. Please help if you got any ideas of what it might be .

Modiaz, head to your local auto parts store, to get the codes read for free, unless you live in california.

the auto parts store, will hookup a scanner and will scan your car to tell you whats wrong with it.

it's saying that it cant read that sensor...either because that sensor is broken, or there is no oil.
Have you checked the oil level?????

P2647 is a code for the VTEC oil pressure switch. This code is sometimes accompanied by an inability for the VTEC to physically engage, so the car won't rev above 3000 RPM or so.

Make sure that your oil level is full and that you are using either 5W-20 or 5W-30 oil - do not use a higher viscosity. You can try removing the VTEC spool valve and cleaning it out. You'll also want to remove the oil pressure switch itself from the VTEC valve and cleaning out the oil passages with some carb cleaner. Reset the computer. If it doesn't solve the problem, replace the pressure switch. They're somewhere around $60-65 IIRC. Do not over-torque it or it will break off.

I just had an oil change 2 weeks at the dealer so that's good. The light went away and the code isn't appearing no more and the car drives good again I don't know what happened
