ACURA RDX tech pkg battery/start problems
ACURA RDX tech pkg battery/start problems
I purchased this vehicle brand new with 0 miles and the intermittent issues of the vehicle not starting has escalated with much more frequent intermittent issues. Everytime I have taken the vehicle back to the dealership, everyone seems to be at a lost unable to detect the issues. I am to the point of purchasing another vehicle. The purchase cost of this vehicle is not a small drop in the bucket and to have an unreliable vehicle with an acura titling is simply not acceptable anymore.
When did the vehicle start acting up? Right away or one day after servicing? What was the car in for last well before this?
My first thoughts are:
There is a connection on the battery with a red cap, wiggle that and see if it is loose to slighty loose(the connection should be snug and not wiggle, don't go ape sh.t on it tho) Normally service will disconnect the negative side of the battery.
Also if neither are loose; have Acura check the battery connections at the fuse box. If that is loose acc will not turn over the engine possibly. Look the engine over for connectors that arent plugged in
Let us know if that doesnt help
