I just wanted to give a heads up to folks. My 07 RDX with 62k on it; the clutch went out on the compressor, $850 for my local wrench to fix it, I think Acura want upwards of $1500 and they would only replace the whole compressor not just repair the clutch.

It has left a bad taste in my mouth about Acura, kind of crappy to get a $800 repair bill on a 07 Acura.

 

Dont think its just with Acura.
Any car manufacture could have problems like this.

My dodge ram had its ac compressor fan go out. I fixed and then a year later it went out again. it sucks but its life.
