Has anyone experienced humming noise coming from the power steering?

If your pump is making some noise, and there's no evidence of a leak, then I would recommend a fluid change to see if it helps. Noise is pretty common when your fluid gets old and gunky - for most that's probably around 100k miles but it could be more or less depending on your car's age and driving conditions. If you've done your own oil, you can change your own p/s fluid for the cost of 3 bottles of fluid and some rubber tubing (recommended to keep the mess down). Otherwise a reputable Honda shop should do it for under $100.

perhaps the pump needs a refresh of all the rubber seals inside

Fluid or new unit ask the dealer they’ll let you know might have water in the line if you never changed the fluid
