2008 RDX Turbo developed a new acceleration issue

So a bit of back story I bought this car used. I've had it for 3 years now. It has developed an issue that has me worried. If I accelerate moderately rapidly from a stop or slow speed like 1st gear it accelerates to about 2k rpms then stops increasing it's accelerating. Kind of loses power. One time even coughed like it would stall. It also acts up going up a snowy driveway from low speed if given too much gas. Again after a second it loses all acceleration. Like I said it seems to mostly be a 1st hear issue. I can be doing 35 and floor it with no issues at all. Not sure where to even start looking. I always run high octane like the manual says. Always give oil changes on time. I not sure if I have a sensor issue or a all wheel drive issue. Or a fuel or turbo issue. Car has never done this before but has been for the past couple of weeks. I don't normally get into real heavy but some times it's needed like going up my 350 foot long uphill snowy driveway. Does anyone have any suggestions as to to what this could be. I've been looking around and I'm not finding my exact issue. Some thing close but lots of posts say this may be normal turbo issue and I know it's not true in this case. Thanks in advance for your help.

Also it's not throwing any codes or warnings. Even when it's acting up.

Wish I could help but not familiar with the RDX.

However, plenty of knowledgeable peeps here to answer your question.

I would check the air filter, and check your spark plugs.

I would check:

Then change all of the transmission pressure sensors.

While your at it flush the transmission fluid & change the filter too.

I suspect it might be a transmission issue. Changing the transmission fluid might do the trick because it sounds like the torque converter is slipping and that pop sound is probably the car shifting hard. I have dirty transmission fluid and have the same exact issues so I am about fairly confident but not certain.
