2007 RDX, rattle issue
I couldn't find an existing thread about this, and I just joined this forum. I've had my 07 for 4 years. It had 70k miles when I got it but now has 130k.
When I go over bumps, there's a rattle noise from the suspension. I just changed the tie rod ends and control arm bushings, and ball joints seem fine. Do you think it's the sway bar links?

Front or rear suspension? I know on mine the front strut mounts were very noisy, especially in cold weather. I just replaced all 4 corners this past weekend with 155k miles on them. Also replaced sway bushings and end links since they're cheap and easy to do while in there, but all of those looked to be in decent shape still. The struts and shocks though...they were very done.

Null and proud of it
Did all of what you did, maybe noth the control arm bushings, and I did the endlinks.
Ultimately, I needed both front struts replaced.
FYI, go OEM only. My dealer used aftermarket struts and they were shot after 10K miles, and made the steering feel like crap. OEM struts fixed my light steering and I've been in love ever since!

Rattle also in 2008 RDX with 160K miles
I was reading the articles in this thread about possible issues for rattle. We just had our radiator replaced a few months ago, and my wife swears a rattle wasn’t there before they replaced the radiator and flushEd the transmission fluid.
I’m not sure, but either way it seems to rattle with every decent bump you go over and I can’t tell from where it’s coming. I wasn’t sure if it’s time to replace the struts and shocks or not but I’m sure I could at least check the end links. Any other suggestions?

Good morning, everyone. Well, I asked people in my church for a recommendation of a good mechanic and then went to the one that was closest to the house, about a mile and a half. He could take the car in the next morning so we dropped it off yesterday about nine and got a call around 12 saying it was the front struts. He suggested go ahead and replacing the end links, in addition. $500 later and a few more hours, we had the car back my wife said it drives like a new car. Appreciate the help on this site.

Well, appreciate the heads up from everyone. I am only assuming that he used aftermarket since he did it so quickly but I didn’t ask. When I was a kid, Monroe struts were king of the aftermarket; and that is what I saw on the websites of the local parts stores in our area. I always thought they were really good, but I’m not an expert. Anyway, he said if there was a problem to come back, so hopefully he’ll stand behind his work if you’re down the road they fail or start making racket.
