07 RDX Rough Idle === After tree landed on hood.
A mini tornado ripped through NY a few months ago.
After repairing the cosmetic defects, I've been noticing more pronounced vibration on the steering wheel, shifter, and even my seat. This vibration is most noticeable at stop lights while I am in gear.
I've brought it to the dealership and they said it is normal and within factory specs (whatever that means)..
Anyway, how do they decide if it is within factor specs or not? Do they use a computer to check or what? The RPMs at the stop light are stable and normal. But I can definitely feel more vibrations that normal. My car is @ 19000 miles. I took good care of the car. My concern is the alignment or something like that. Especially since a tree landed and bounced off of the hood of car.
The technician insist that what I feel is normal. But I'm 100% sure that the vibration is something that was never there before. I don't think it has to due with the age of the car either? What's the sure way to check to see if my car is idling rough?
Maybe I'm just use to a smooth shifting car, like my IS and Accord.
Please advise!!

Have the same rough vibration at idle. Everything rattles a little bit more than when it was new. It is a 4 cylinder engine, it may be normal. The only thing that could have an effect on vibration after an accident is a motor/transmission mount.
