Winter wax job on my 2010 RDX

Well winter is coming here in Virginia and I told my wife I'd let her park her newer Toyota Camry in the garage since my RDX has heated seats and a great heater and I want my life to be comfortable on cold winter mornings.

I try to strip and re-wax her every 3-4 months and wash her every 2 weeks with Griot's Garage Brilliant Finish Car Wash with my foam cannon and pressure washer. This weekend I washed her and then clay barred the whole car including all the glass. After the claybar I washed her again, dried her with the leaf blower and compounded the whole car with Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Fine Cut cleaner using my DA polisher to correct any paint blemishes on the car. Below is a pic of the products I use.

I then apply the Klasse sealer to the whole car with the polisher and allow it to dry to a haze and buff off with a microfibre towel. After a break of a few minutes to drink some sweet tea and lemonade I apply a coat of The Chemical Guys Blacklight Hybrid Finish to the whole car and wait 20 minutes and then remove it with a fresh microfiber towel. Time for another tea/lemonade break and then apply the first of two coats of Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax to the entire car except for the widows which I give a coat of Rain-X after all the waxing. The two coats of Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax add fantastic depth to my girl and I hate to leave her outside.

I cleaned the interior and she's all ready for the winter weather now, enjoy the pics below.

Thanks! I love detailing our cars but my wife doesn't understand it. I find cleaning and detailing a car so rewarding and relaxing.
