We are in the final development stages of a reflash for the 2010/2011 RDX. Is there is anyone local to Southern California who could loan a car for half a day on the dyno? Contact doug at hondata.com

 

Are the specs that different from the 07-09 to 10-11?

They are different - 07-09 Computer part # is RWC-A56-A59

+2010 is A60.

Can anyone with a +2010 help your fellow RDX fans out as a Test Vehicle for Hondata.

Did anyone get in contact with Hondata for a Test Car?
I think most +2010 computer is A60 and up.

I check mine's and it is A63 - I am just glad that Hondata is working something for us +10 guys.

I'd offer my 10 up in a heart beat. I live in Vancouver Canada, so might not happen. I cant wait to hear the results from this mod. Been hoping for a year and a half now!

 

Actually I wanted the RDX when it first came out and than Hondata came with the reflash.

I finally took the plunge and purchase RDX back in Nov 2010.
Now I am just waiting on all the goods available for my year.

 

Will there be an option for Hondata with an intake/exhaust etc.

 

What we really need is someone with a vehicle for them to test. I talked to them on the phone the other day and still nothing. Hopefully someone can help us all out!

You guys on the West coast are sooooo lucky. I'd love to offer mine up for them to tune on. Alas, I'm on the wrong side of the U.S.

No takers. We'd rent an RDX if one were available though.

 

I really can't believe there is no +10 RDX available in Cali for Hondata to run a few test.

 

Most Acura dealers give out RDXs as service loaner vehicles for customers that dropped off their cars for maintenance.

Any way to talk a local (and willing) Acura dealer into borrowing their RDX service loaner for a day?

A service loaner will also have a few thousand miles on it and be broken in.

 

I know theres a bunch on Dynos in VA and MD. Any chance you can do the reflash and have one of your authorized vendors dyno the vehicle and send you the information that you need? I'm more than willing to travel to a dyno to help get this done.

Yeah, I just saw, that. I sent you a message back. I do have access to a 2011 rdx now, if interested. Give me a call, I will send you the info PM. I would like to work out something if possible, either with this car or mine. I am flashing my car when I get it, and if you don;t have software, that doesn't help me out, nor does it help the community.

 

I really hope this goes thru so we (+10) guys can enjoy what the 07-09 rdxers has been doing for a while.

im curious if they will compensate for having an exhaust and aftermarket intake as well.. since more are in production compaired to what it was like a few years back when it was far and between.

 

I will be getting my RDX in the next 3 weeks now. Should ship from Ohio hopefully by the end of the week. Can't wait, and definitely can't wait until the reflash is ready, should give me just enough time to get the car broken in before the flash is ready for market. They mentioned injectors at hondata, I hope this comes true, because I want more horsepower already.

that they pretty much tuned the car to the max with their flash software based on the stock injectors. With some upgraded injectors they could probably tune the car more. I am just hoping they look into this and sell an injector flash kit.
