Stock turbo upgrade!!

The stock turbo upgrade includes: EverGreen Turbo Co.

Turbocharger Rebuild
Upgrade Billet Comp Wheel
Clipped
Turbine
Step Gap Race Seal

A 50% deposit is required to get started on the turbo. I would suggest emailing them for prices as mine may not be the same as others.

Hopefully more people will jump on board. It took getting beat by my mechanic's 12 sec Tundra to make me get this far. Now he pulls me slightly on the highway, and after the water/meth and turbo upgrade I should hang with or pull a little. We will see though....

I'm currently emailing EverGreen to see if this is true about what Dresx posted about the 18t upgrade. https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-rdx-performance-parts-modifications-162/k23a1-build-912724/

you will definitely need injectors. Stocks are near maxed with just an intake and tune

If you don't have the flashpro or don't want to get it, then stop here. It's not going to happen. Just stick with your reflash and intake. The flashpro is a whole different world.

I'm going to say this is not creditable, if you are serious about doing a rebuild and an upgrade I would suggest contacting EverGreen Turbo Co. Most of my post are here for you to see what is out there, available to you and not for pricing guides.

...also curious. I know every set up will be different...but any word on what your specific setup is running you? as far as the turbo upgrade itself?

it'd be a decent gauge for the rest.

http://www.xsboostturbochargers.com/...-mhi-18t-td04/ thats where i got the wheel.. the inside of the housing needs alittle machining

i guess techinaclly if you include the parts its about 500 total.. estimated about 35hp increase.. not bad.. if you think of it for bang for buck.. deff want flashpro if you want to upgrade the turbo to get the best results

He suggested others call, bluecarbonfiber it's in that ballpark ^. I wouldn't recommend getting you own parts. It's a turbo shop, there are not going to put cheap parts on their rebuilds as that would make the company look terrible.

Just to confirm, I will be the first to have this upgrade done by EverGreen. Just trying to weed out all the bad apples from Acurazine...

Question is, will you be able to fully realize the potential gains from this turbo if you can't push it beyond ~14 lb due to that overboost issue? I mean, you should at least gain some noticeable top end due to the turbo being able to maintain boost higher in the rpm range, but it seems you can get a nice midrange torque bump as well if you can get past 14 lb without the ECU cutting you off. Very curious to see the new numbers!

14lbs? The top psi was 17lbs on my tune then of course it tappers down. With these turbo upgrade you can run the turbo at one psi throughout the power band unlike the stock tapper down crap....

Tomtwtwtw, what I've been trying to point out is that, not everybody on here has the same problems if any. Where you got boost maxing out at 14lbs is beyond me. Or you are just reading what hypnotini issues are. Kill'n me... Look, I'm going to do my best and give everybody creditable information on here.

Yeah I'm just going by the guy that keeps getting overboost codes thrown by the ECU at anything over 14lb, don't recall the name. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but rather just trying to look at possible speed bumps based on my own previous experience with other projects. If this overboost thing is an isolated incident and you're able to get to 17+ then that's awesome and full steam ahead!
