Seat Covers?

Hello. I am writing to inquire if anyone has any idea for seat covers for the front seats for RDX? I understand that Acura doesn't make them because of the seat airbags, but, I really would like to protect the seats. Greatly appreciate any information/assistance. Thank you.

I believe the side-impact airbags are located in the seat. Not sure if it's on all 1G RDX or not, but if there's an airbag in the seat you'll see a tag on the seat as well indicating as much. Look about shoulder height on the seat near the door.

When a friend crashed his car (same car as mine just one year later) it came i believe from the pillar.

There's a curtain airbag in the pillar for head protection in a side impact, and the one in the seat should be for torso protection. Below image gives you an example of both. The one on the driver's side running from ass to chest will deploy from the seat. You can also see the corresponding airbag tag on the passenger seat. This isn't a 1G RDX pic, but I believe our airbag layout is the same. 2 front, 2 front-side, 4 curtain. Also, I'm basing mine off a search for 2010 RDX - not sure if the earlier years had fewer airbags or if it is the same for all 1G.

Hey, I'm officially schrapnel-free now! But the wife's Fit is ready to shred up passengers until her bag is replaced. Sadly that does not qualify for a long-term rental.

Does anyone have a solution for a rear seat cover? Preparing for a baby seat.. I have seen the generic seat protector which I will purchase, but I would like additional protection.
