Hi does the check engine light still come on? That would be my only issue because living in California I would have to get a smog check next year. Thanks

Oh and another thing, is the test car catless?

If so, is there any way for you to check if it passes emissions without a cat being present?

The test car is catless and from what I remember in NY we will pass emissions as long as we don't throw a CEL. I have never went to a emissions station in NY that actually did a visual inspection then we would be screwed.

The test car was catless. Google the emissions testing procedure in your state.

My admin made a mistake when adding it to the site. We send the parts out for ceramic and have no control over the pricing. However they do a great job. I've tried a few places and this one is by far the best.

I'm not running HONDATA or any ECU upgrade, so if I order with a CAT, should I be trouble free? Is it a 200 cell cat or more?

We can make a 3" outlet and sell you the matching flange. Since there is no OEM 3" flange hole locations we made a fixture of our own.

Did you mate it up to a stock exhaust?
I need my question answered before I place an order...very intrigued and I've lined up a HONDATA flasher locally too to do after this.

I haven't installed it yet. I'm waiting for my ETS intercooler to arrive then I will install both. But yes it does bolt up to the stock exhaust. Are you getting a basic reflash, dealer flashpro or are you purchasing a flashpro?

Thanks for answering! I'm getting a HONDATA - is one flash better than the other?
I'll place order now, thanks for help...

yes.. there is the normal reflash that is done by hondata.. you wont beable to have a downpipe, full exhaust, intercooler and intake with this due to running to lean

there is a custom reflash that you can have done by select dealerships (of hondata) that use flashpro to reflash your ecu to your parts you have added to your vehicle.. (they will need to dyno/tune your vehicle)

and last there is flashpro that gives you the option to tune yourself..

Oh I see - looks like I'll have to go flashpro then, and get it tuned after the DP install. DEF don't want to run this engine lean, she has 70k miles on it, who knows how well she can handle a little knocking (ie not worth the risk).

Whatever place you go to dyno uses flashpro to tune. That is the custom reflash you speak of

You don't have to have a flashpro to throw this on do you? shouldn't lean out or anything since it doesn't affect the intake of air so much? I have a budget for one mod this Christmas and don't know where to start lol.

you can run all boltons safely its if you add the reflash that makes it too lean.. which is why flashpro is better to bring it back into the safe zone.. so purchase away and save flashpro for last

from what i read.. the best way to remove and install is through the top so you will need to remove the intercooler and work from the top

Acura manual calls for the removal of the Intermediate Shaft when removing/installing the Warm Up TWC. I read where someone was able to thread the pipe out of the top of the engine.

from previous searched on the downpipe that others have done they have done it through the top cause doing it through the bottom would require having to drain tranny fluid and remove the shaft then add more tranny fluid again.. so if its that time to do tranny fluid go for it, otherwise i would just do it through the top
