Question on Hondata

Does anyone know, or has anyone tried using a Hondata reflashed ecu on a 2009 or 2010? I see Hondata only lists applications for 2007-2008. I'm just wondering if the ecu's are that much different.

There is no REFLASH available for the 2009-2010 models! I wanted to get mine done last week and that was the info provided to me.

I have it done on my 2009 for a while now . I don't think they change anything engine wise for the 2010 except body features . But check your ECU to see what is the part number on it if the ECU part number is RWC-A56-A59 then your good to go .

OK.

The ECU number for the 2010 is RWC A62, and its not available. I have a 2010.

Hopefully. I tried to ask them but there customer service is terrible. I don't like that you are not able to contact them with questions! You have to rely solely on there website forum. I dont find that very professional. Just my opinion though.

Yeah I hear you on that I have called them in the past and it does suck bad it's more of a tech line for problems than customer service .

Have you seen the new price for the RDX reflash of $295

http://www.hondata.com/reflash_rdx.html

I'm going to take my RDX in on Monday, 3/29/10 to do the reflash.

Well I have some bad news. I just got off the phone with HONDATA, and I am the second person that has shown interest in the reflash in the past few months. They dont even know if they are going to do our ECU! That sucks!

No need to hurry. Hondata stated this was a "price drop" and not a "limited time offer". They must be going through some tough times or just trying to boost sales.

well honestly, once you purchase it, it never goes bad, so im sure they had their "wave" of customers *me about 5 years ago for the rsx-s* and now that people are trading in their 1st gen tsx's and rsx's and reselling their own ecu's for cheaper, they had to do something.
