K&N Filter

anything available yet for the RDX?

mau108 10-23-2007 04:33 PM

I want the AEM Dryflow drop ins... got it in the lude in cone form, no problems at all. Don't really like the wet types (although they do provide better filteration if cleaned and oiled properly)

Tried to find on their search but only got "Oil Cap - Only Thread-In" as a match. I've been waiting for the K&N too, but I like this better than having to oil it down.
How did you get one?

Ordered it through a local supplier. I have the AEM short ram intake on the honda prelude so its just a direct replacement. I haven't used the drop ins before.

ok. Waitin' on somebody to do somethin' for the RDX. Lookin' at the CAI in the other thread, too.

That was very informative. I guess I choose the hype I want to believe. I'll have to consider the k&n in a different light. Maybe not at all.

Thanks

Honestly something has to give, more air = less filteration, more filteration = less air flow.

If your constantly driving in muddy, dusty situations, I strongly suggest sticking with oem air filter and just changing it often.

filtration is one thing, hp and torque gains from increased airflow are another, hey cant have your cake and eat it too right

You're right. I've used K&N for years with no adverse problems and it gave me what I wanted.

Still waiting.
