How many miles on your reflash???
Got an 08 Tech for the wife and would really want some more power and gas mileage out of the RDX. A bit Skeptical and longevity of the engine with the reflash. How many miles do you have on your reflash??

It has been about 10 months with my reflash. I had about 35,000 miles when I did the reflash and I have about 47,000 miles now.
My average gas mileage was about 18.5 to 19.2 mpg with about 60% hwy. I got between 20.5 to 20.8 during the summer (had a few +8hr hwy runs with cruise set at 80mph). My average mpgs has dropped during the winter months to about 20.1 on the MID.
I drive the RDX a little harder with the reflash and I know my mpgs would be better if I took it easy. I might be over 21 average mpgs if I did drive more conservative.
For me, I've noticed the RDX is easier to drive with the extra power. The RDX power was like a 3.2L V-6 before; now the RDX is about a 3.5L or 3.7L depending on extras like intake and exhaust (with the same or better mpgs).
I don't hit WOT as much because there is more power compared to before the reflash. You will be hitting +90 mph at WOT in the same time it took you to get to 75-80 mph without the reflash.
Acura should make a Type-S RDX with a 6MT+reflash+Eibach springs.

PM me if you need a reply
Just had her reflashed last week and rode about 150 miles already. I'm glad I got it done. Turns out my RDX was one of the first 700 made so they had to do a custom flash and it took an extra hour. It was well worth the wait.

WOOO HOOO! just got my reflash today and as soon as i got a chance on a empty strip of road i hit the pedal, and for the first 3 seconds i was in awe of the scenery that was just flying by, the 4th second i looked down at the speedo after hearing the second gear came to an end and noticed a second later the speedo read 60mph! not sure exactly what the real 0-60 time was but for sure it was way faster than w/o the reflash. best bang for the buck mod for speed.
Hey all does anyone here use the sport shift mode and paddle shift? if so please elaborate and let me know if it is worth the play, and if i should mess with it at all.
thanx

I've had it done for approximately seven months and about 4,000 miles now. No problems at all. None. It's a worthy modification. One of the few available for the RDX.
