Hondata and overboost
Hondata and overboost
So were still busy tuning but the ecu seems to do a check "if boost > X then throw code" the p0234 overboost.
Has anyone found a way around this so we can squeeze more boost out of the engine yet? there are still a lot of area we can improve in the tuning but its tripping that code without a cel coming on in the car.

did you ever trip the p0234 over boost code? im not getting a cel but its popping up in the errors. im also a little bit higher elevation and 91 octane dunno if that makes a difference. Curious if you had to clean any sensors or replace them. I am at 95k miles.
Not sure about that, but I do know that the knock sensor is crazy sensitive and it could screw with other stuff. You might want to check your injector duty cycle. My stock was hitting close to 100% when I was running the flashpro with intake and exhaust.
let me link to my post on hondata so you can download my most recent data log maybe see something im missing.

How is the MAF sensor placed in the CPE intake ? @ken what intake are you using? Do you know diameter around MAF Sensor ?
Also i think the knock sensor is picking up too much valve chatter, get the tightened back to specifications and try again its pulling crazy amount of timing while you're WOT.
side note are you FWD or SH-AWD?

My ecu has a boost cut check. Still waiting on hondata to expose the tables. U can check the post on hondata to get specifics on ecu etc. I have full flashpro but mine likes to throw over boost code over 14.5 psi. Will update asap.

I sent a pm but if you wanted humble to chime in on the hondata post that would be cool. the more reputable vendors and tuners chiming in on things gets it all done quicker :-P
Just curious, does anyone know what the range is of the map sensors for this car? 2, 2.5, 3 bar? My old car came with 2.5 bar sensors and it would throw overboost codes at ~22 psi, which is just about 2.5 bar. 14.5 psi is also right at 2 bar. I wouldn't think Honda would only put a 2 bar sensor on this car, but who knows?
so I'm running 2.150 on the top end in flash pro. need to go back to the dyno though. a bit pingy and don't want to hurt things but it did hold boost a bit better. I'll wind up pulling timing and setting the knock sensitivity a bit higher.
Come on, go for an even 2.38.
Not sure what kind of top end the turbo will be able to give you, but 300 ft-lb seems very attainable with some extra boost. Nothing like that fat mid range, especially on the insanely widely geared transmission.

If so, sounds like you are able to hold higher boost pressures with the new version of FlashPro correct? Any initial power/torque numbers? And you are running stock turbo still yes?
