Hondata Mobile for FlashPro owners

Heads up FlashPro owners. All RDX FlashPros have Bluetooth capability for mobile connectivity.

Here's how to activate it:

Download the beta version of FlashPro Manager:
http://hondata.com/updates/FlashProM...1-8-1-Full.exe

Download the iOs or Android version:

Sweet, can't wait to check this out. I have the generic ELM bluetooth adapter that I've been using with the Torque app - is that compatible or do I need a specific one?

You don't need any adapter as such. FlashPro RDX has Bluetooth and is the adapter.

Torque Lite (OBD 2 & Car)
Torque Pro (OBD 2 & Car)

have been tested with Android

Ah, ok so you mean the bluetooth is built into the FlashPro box itself? So for example, instead of a generic bluetooth adapter I can plug in my FlashPro, and instead of Torque I read it via the Hondata mobile app?

Yes.

Torque might be able to be set up to read the FlashPro directly, but Hondata Mobile will give you access to more ECU data channels. Let us know how it goes.

I ended up opening the FlashPro window on my laptop and changing the name and PIN of the unit, as it was all funky symbols. Once I did that pairing was a breeze and reading it via the app was easy. Unfortunately Torque could not identify which protocol the unit uses, and so I could not connect it for comparison. Still worked great on the Hondata app though.
