A History of the RDX Hondata Reflash
For those who did'nt know, research and tuning for the RDX reflash was mainly performed by Sean Church at his shop Church Automotive in California.
Here is a link to his thread that covers the progression and results of the tuning that he did way back in 2007!
Sean is 'notyper' in the thread "Project RDX Update" on the forum Temple of Vtec.

its true..
copy and pasted straight from there reflash application area
Applications
Acura RDX ECU part number RWC-A56-A59
Pricing
K23A1-RDX ECU flash program 7200 rpm REV limit - $295
K23A1ECU-RDX ECU & flash program 7200 rpm REV limit - $895
This upgrade information form must be sent if you wish to reflash your stock ECU.
The standalone RDX ECU is simply plug and play. Plug in and drive. Total down time about 10 minutes and likely the fastest performance upgrade you will install.
Hondata does not sell direct - all sales and payment must be conducted through Hondata dealers.
they just havent updated there years yet to reflect it

Well I have a 2011 RDX.
My computer is RWC-A60 and I spoke with the sales and he advise it won't work on my RDX until someone else has tried it already with the 2010 with the same cpu # . =*(

The RDX is a fun crossover.
(Would be better with a little more responses and hp)
Would be happy if it is able to hit the 300hp mark with the stock transmission holding up.

stock tranny will hold it.. didnt you read the article from sean church on the first post?? he mentioned about the tranny and how strong it is.. im guessing if the engine could take 400hp the tranny could do the same..
i would think the major thing is you may want to invest in a tranny cooler to help prolong it.
another side note.. this is a SUV not a race car.. but anything above 300HP would be fun

rdx 2008 hondata reflash
hi im new to this forum.. i have an rdx 08 with hondata reflash.. few days ago the car was at the acura dealership for p1009 code vtc malfuntion.. acura updated the pcm with the latest software per sb 09-036 for code p1009 and fix the problem.. but now my hondata reflash is gone! nomore 7200rpm
i called hondata and ask if they can reflash the ecu back without overwriting the current software and replied that they could not do anything for now and would take few week for them to fix the problem, they say they will just email me for instruction..any of you guys have had this issue? i really miss the extra power that hondata provided!
