A History of the RDX Hondata Reflash

For those who did'nt know, research and tuning for the RDX reflash was mainly performed by Sean Church at his shop Church Automotive in California.

Here is a link to his thread that covers the progression and results of the tuning that he did way back in 2007!
Sean is 'notyper' in the thread "Project RDX Update" on the forum Temple of Vtec.

Enjoy

its true..

copy and pasted straight from there reflash application area

Applications

Acura RDX ECU part number RWC-A56-A59
Pricing

K23A1-RDX ECU flash program 7200 rpm REV limit - $295
K23A1ECU-RDX ECU & flash program 7200 rpm REV limit - $895
This upgrade information form must be sent if you wish to reflash your stock ECU.

The standalone RDX ECU is simply plug and play. Plug in and drive. Total down time about 10 minutes and likely the fastest performance upgrade you will install.

Hondata does not sell direct - all sales and payment must be conducted through Hondata dealers.

they just havent updated there years yet to reflect it

Same here!
The RDX is a fun crossover.
(Would be better with a little more responses and hp)

Would be happy if it is able to hit the 300hp mark with the stock transmission holding up.

stock tranny will hold it.. didnt you read the article from sean church on the first post?? he mentioned about the tranny and how strong it is.. im guessing if the engine could take 400hp the tranny could do the same..

i would think the major thing is you may want to invest in a tranny cooler to help prolong it.

another side note.. this is a SUV not a race car.. but anything above 300HP would be fun

Anything over 3 and I will be a VERY HAPPY CAMPER... I would love to have a seriously fast grocery getter... I feel like this car has more potential than the market is giving it...
