Lightbulb ETS Top Mount Intercooler **GROUP BUY**

I just got the GREEN light directly from ETS for another group buy pricing discount on their custom built top mount aluminum intercooler for the RDX.

The build is about two months out, due to ETS currently being mobbed with work. That gives everyone time to start saving, collecting donations, or figure out how to break the news to your spouse.

http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/R...Top-Mount.html

List Price $800+

Discount with FIVE buyer commitments will be $599 Shipped. If we can score more then Five people the discount has potential to be even sweeter. ETS is a very reputable performance company, and this is a solid mod for the RDX.

So, Lets get the ball rolling.

I don't know about other folks; but, the holidays months are going eat up a lot of my fun money. I know I can swing this no problem in Jan/Feb 2013 once I recover from the holidays. Waiting a little longer works out better for me.

It's worth saving a couple hundred Dollars! Even if you need to put it on a credit card. If you paid $15 in interest to Visa, you'd still save $185!

Has anyone done a writeup on the install of one of these? Any idea on complexity? Seems fairly straight forward...

Probably worth getting with this is screen used for screen windows from like homedepot to put on the underside of the engine cover to help prevent debris messing up the fins on the new fancy intercooler.

Installing these is pretty simple really. You don't need any special tools or mechanical experience. Maybe a little patience. But I did one in something like 20 min.

BTW folks, if you wanna GB anything we are happy to explore GBs on any items we have on our website (including this one...). As an authorized vendor we have a great system fot collecting payments, giving updates, and shipping with great follow up. For future reference.

Ill be contacting ETS and confirming the payment processing procedures, ill ask about partial deposits etc... Once I gather all the details in stone ill post it all, including links.
I know they accept PayPal so I assume that will be a viable option for most of us, so if you don't have a PP account you might consider setting one up; just for the sake of ease.

I was not anticipating the list to hit five so rapidly, hopefully by the time they are ready for our payment in-full the list will be lingering around ten buyers.

*Remember ETS is shooting to start the build in TWO months, the more commitments the sweeter the discount! WE HAVE PLENTY OF TIME

I have not spoken with anyone @ heel toe. I can personally only validate a group buy through ETS being that they are the manufacturers and designers of the product.

I can't say, I would assume the discount applies in margins of five buyers. Once we reach that number of (10), Ill ask the people over at ETS what they can do for us.

Although $599 Shipped to the lower 48, is already a stellar price. But trust me, my mind is right where yours is… the more money we can save the better!

The real struggle is, getting all 10+ buyers to actually pay… Its one thing to add your name to a list. Hopefully everyone put some dough aside.

Smile Anodized Aluminum

Just wanted to throw this out there….

Im special-ordering my intercooler as Black anodized aluminum & without the 4 screw points which accommodate the worthless heat-soak enabling engine cover.

I believe ETS offers a few other colors which look sharp also; I personally have seen the Green & Purple. They quoted me $80 wholesale* for anodized Black, I think its worth the extra cash for a true custom look.

Hopefully this sparks some more interest... could serve as a good Christmas or Hanukkah gift.

^Yep, they do their own stuff right there in the shop, so you won't be waiting for turnaround time either.

judging from the ETS site the stock one looks black and their IC is chrome. Its a cool thought but I will just go with a standard order.

I'm pretty new to the forum: how do I sign up for this group buy? Do I just add my name to the list here or is there another part of the forum for group buys?
