CP-E intake

Just installed it and took it for a rip, went to make sure everything was tight after the ride and the intake pipe was hot, is this normal?

Yes. The engine bay is hot, so it conducts to the metal piping. The turbo heats up the air even more (as it pressurizes), and the intercooler helps to reduce temperatures before it goes into the motor.
