hey gungho, how much did you get the intake for plus shipping and where ?
did you ask your dealer if adding the intake would void your warranty

We have one more in stock and on sale for $285 shipped to the cont US

An intake should not void your warranty. The dealer has to prove that the part installed caused an issue.

I am new here and I want to know if the down pipe for the RDX is still a proyect in progress or its already a reality. I am interested in purchasing one if its already avalable and really works.

I shall assume that you are referring to a turbo down pipe which has nothing to do with this thread!
A down pipe for the RDX is not a reality an is not a project in progress at this time.
However it does work ( and works extremely well I might add ), but at the moment has only been made by a couple individuals that had it done custom!!

those that installed an aftermarket intake, do you still bring your car to the delearship to get serviced or do you go to private ones ?

cause they mark down your aftermarket mods

I got my intake today. Looks to be of excellent quality. It'll be a day or two until I get a chance to install it.

Oh man, I would have if I had read this before I did the install. It was really easy. The included instructions are very detailed with pics. It only took me about half an hour to do everything. Good luck

P.S. Anyone want to buy a nearly brand new K&N drop in filter for cheap? PM me if interested.

Well after one day of it being installed, the wife says it's got to go. She can't deal with the sweet sounds of the turbo and bpv. $220 shipped and it's yours.

Ya, don't get me wrong it's a great mod. I think the additional sounds are great, but she drives it a lot more then I do. I went back to the K&N drop-in. Well, if I can sell this I'll move on to the Eibach springs

My TSX is fully modded and she loves it. Go figure

Check your invoice. You may have not been charged for it if it was out of stock or backordered. You can still install it without the prefilter. It will not hurt anything

STILL LOOKING TO SELL MINE. Guys if any of you are interested PM me. They are out of stock from CP-E currently.

nope my invoice said there is one quantity selected for the prefilter.and 1 quantity selected for my intake. well i would perfer installing with the prefilter since i bought it. i'm a little paranoid that some water might get in the filter. So right now im waiting for Cp-e to reply back. Josh Adams passed the ball to his employee Paula so just waiting for their answer

I ordered that prefilter thingy and when it came I decided not to install it! That thing looks way too restrictive to airflow! So as i said, I left it in the box ;-)

never mind that last thread i made. but just wondering does the intake tube need to be wedge into the turbo inlet tube? or the rubber that came with the cp-e intake that put them together is ok.

That black rubber piece connects the intake tube to the turbo inlet plastic piece. Hose clamps keep it from sliding off of one another.
