Blow off valves

hello all! Currently in the market for a blow off valve for my 2011, and I see a lot of of them out there, but I just don’t know which one is trustworthy while being on a slimmer budget than most people.. I know the Turbosmart dual BOV is highly recommended, but I don’t particularly want to spend the whole $150. If I can find something that’s slightly cheaper but has basically the same results, I’ll shoot for it, but if it’s not worth buying a cheap one, I will just save up for the Turbosmart bov

Couple things:

Actual vent-to-atmosphere BOVs are a poor choice for the RDX. They will hurt your performance rather than help.

Turbosmart makes a single port version which is more accurately called a full recirculation bypass valve - basically it sends the excess pressure back to the intake which helps the turbo re-spool more quickly. I have this exact part in my RDX. It was a little cheaper than the dual port version on HeelToe (and they gave me a discount when I used their Lets Deal feature).

I think I got a slight improvement in power when I installed the single port Turbosmart valve - probably because my stock valve had a small leak. But in general, you're not going to get any major gains by upgrading this component of the forced induction system.
