That is exactly where I'm going to meet them, at the SEMA show on November 2nd.

I worry the production of 10 is simply too low, but I'll try to talk them into selling the rest to their distribution channel.

I'll also talk to other spring manufacturers at the show and see if anyone is up for making some for the RDX if Eibach doesn't want to play.

I have a good connection at Swift springs. They do a lot of race car springs and are high quality product.

I can even park my car on jack stands for a while and take out the front and rear springs for them to play with.

Yup SWIFT Japan. They are one the sponsors for our race series, USTCC (United States Touring Car Championship).

True about any brand springs, I just really want to lower the car about 1 inch in the back and about 1.5 to 2 inches in front. Although over time crappy springs will lose their rates!

Has anyone done it "old school" and cut off 1/2 coil or 1 full coil?

Plus one.

It would be great if some vendors would start paying more attention to the RDX.

I also contacted Ground Control, I have their suspension on my race car. They are going to look into it and see what they can do for us. High quality products, and it would be in a "coil over" format. Going forward it would be easy to change springs and fine tune the ride even further if need be. Take a look at what they have for the Honda Element.

http://www.ground-control-store.com/...p/II=527/CA=76

They have a tendancy to get really busy, so I don't know about the time line. Since we have no other choices I guess we'll just have to wait!

GC would work too. Why is it so hard to get something developed for this vehicle. If it had a trunk and not a hatch we'd have another 100 aftermarket accessories by now.

Give it some time, it won't be long till the HS kids get ahold of a 07-09. That's when the magic starts happening..?

Hey, I just got an 08 RDX as my DD. It came with the 19" Acura rims(looks so nice) and am looking for a lowering kit. I like the look of the 1" drop with the eibach springs, but I'm looking for a drop of 2", but I'd settle for 1.75".
Any help would be great. Thanks.

I know this guy who doesn't even have an RDX, but has a set of Eibach springs that would fit just sitting in his garage...

Greeting from Las Vegas. Well it has been a very interesting past 3 days here at the SEMA show.

I have Bad News, even worse News, and GREAT NEWS!

Forthe Bad News- Eibach wants 100 minimum to do another run. This was directly from a very high level executive, so basically no go. I really used my connection to get the food chain on this one and was very disappointed at the end. I spent about a day and half at SEMA to get that high, so it was costly to get that answer after all that...oh well...had to try.

The worse news is that it left me with very little time to get after other manufacturers to get springs done for us. So basically was not able to get any of the other usual suspects to do anything for our special little RDX.

Now for the great new...

BC Suspension will make us Coilovers. I was able to talk to the principal at BC and he agreed to make the RDX a full set up.

I will take the suspension off of my 2007 RDX and ship it to him. He should have a set back for testing to me within a month. I will do some testing at the track and provide some feedback to fine tune it. He should have the refined set ready for you all in 45 to 60 days.

I will keep you all posted and as long as BC is OK with me posting pictures I will do so.

I am very happy.

Took front and rear suspension off the RDX and packed it up. Will ship out on Monday. The car is on jack stands for now.

We are on our way Gent.

Now who can get us a rear sway bar?!

When i first got the RDX, "The Progress Group" out here in CA told me they could do sway bars. Never really followed it up. http://www.progressauto.com/home

It might downplay the SH AWD a bit though.. make it harder to activate with less roll.

Thoughts?

Thank you for the info. I left their R&D a voice mail. I hope they are up for it.

If the swaybars are keeping the car "flat" then their should not be a traction issue. I should not hurt the SH AWD performance.

sh awd is activated by roll, yaw sensors, etc..

...not that I'm opposed to better sway bars...just being the devils advocate. it'd be nice if they make em.

Figured this would be the best place to post this. One lucky RDX owner will love me...

One more Eibach kit left... Just ordered mine and spent 15 mins on the phone with them. They had 2 kits in stock. Shipping blows unless you're in Canada. I paid $319 to cali.

I called over 30 places today. They are still out there to be had. I was on the 4th page of Google before I found this place. For the unlucky ones, I searched "Eibach 4071.540"

Not sure Vaprea, but I'll let you know when I get them. I was just expecting the springs. Hard to believe the springs weigh 50lbs though...

I'm just hoping it's the right part number. I did confirm twice though.

Nice, I have their contact page in my history. Not sure if I called or they didn't answer. Good find and price regardless!
