Starting this by saying that this will be a slow build, as I am a broke college student, but I will keep this thread updated as well as I can.

First thing I did was an intake (One of the generic ones from Ebay). I wanted more turbo noises and for 60 dollars I figured why not. I am planning on swapping the cheap filter for a higher quality one from K&N and making my own airbox similar to the one K&N sells for the G1 RDX..

I am VERY Happy with the new sound. You can perfectly hear the BPV and the turbo. The engine sounds great too!

That sounds great. Was it a perfect fit or did you have to move things around?

 

Also, what filter did you use to replace the ebay filter?

 

Any AEM or K&N cone filter with a 3" inlet diameter will work.

 

Suggestion: AEM dryflow filters are a better choice than anything requiring regular oiling. AEM also sells a pre-filter. I have both.

Turbo = extra important to give the engine clean air.
