Looking at 2010 RDX
Likes
- I think the interior is nice and well laid out.
- decently equipped in stock form
- TPMS actually shows pressure, not just an idiot light
- Everything nicer is more expensive. Anything cheaper isn't as nice.
- Handling is decent for what it is.
- Stock rubber does a decent job in winter.
- heated seats warm up quicker than some other cars (quicker than Nissan/infiniti for sure, not as quick as Subaru).
Dislike -
- automatic is not as responsive as others
- little things annoy me that really could just be simplified without really adding any cost(hands free link, fixing the ugly wheel offset, paddle shifters often miss a downshift).
- Little options like auto headlights, LED tails, rain sensing wipers, 6 speed auto would be nice.
- I hate the Maintenance minder and MID. MID always defaults too OFF when you restart the car. Pisses me off.
- Maintenance minder sucks ass once it pops up. Every time you start the car you get a warning - even at 15%. It takes 3-4 button pushes to get rid of it and get to the normal display. You want to change the display, it will pop right back up. Retarded considering 15% oil like it likely still good for 800-1000 more miles. It's also a convenient way for Acura to screw people on maintenance by bundling certain things like rotations, oil changes with optional things like inpections and charge you out of ass for it.
- The manual tilt/telescope could be a bit easier to use.

I agree about the maint reminder. It's odd they start off with 15%. Very annoying to keep hitting that button like you mentioned.
other than that, I'm happy with my RDX, coming from a TSX. The new and updated stuff in the 2010 are nice.
I wish Acura would add the name of the caller to the bluetooth screen. I have to pull out my phone everytime a call comes in to see who it is. That's really annoying.

2010 RDX has auto headlights
My dislikes about the RDX:
- It took me a while to get the seat into a comfortable position... My previous car was an Audi A4 and had no problems with seat comfort. I think the RDX's seats are more stiff.
- Can be slow to respond when you need to quickly accelerate into traffic. My previous car was a manual, so maybe I just need to get used to an automatic again.
- navigation destination entry is a little painful
- FM radio quality isn't very good
- USB/IPOD music navigation isn't very convenient.
- brakes could be improved
The width of the RDX allows it to fit in my garage with a few inches to spare on either side. The MDX is 5 inches wider, and it would be a tight fit.

Love it. Will drive it until the wheels fall off.
The initial throttle response/turbo lag can put you in a tough spot. I soon learned how NOT to pull in front of an oncoming dump truck.
The K&N CAI greatly improves the throttle response issue.
For the size and weight of the vehicle, gas mileage is only okay - 22 mpg day in, day out in mostly highway/freeway driving. On premium.
The navigation system SUCKS. Mine still thinks the nearest Statbucks is 1500 miles away. TomTom knows better and costs a couple of hundred bucks.
On the other hand, I have not had a single warranty issue in the two years/36k miles I've had it. Except an occasionaly backfire which might be cat converter related and will be checked out this week.
