Fog Light & License Plate Light Replacement Help
I haven't looked at the owner's manual so this may be premature but knowing owners manuals I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here since it seems that there are a few of you out there who have replaced your fog lights and license plate lights on your RDXs. Anyway, my Hoen lights should be arriving today in the mail and I would like to know if anyone has a simple guide that shows how to replace the fog lights and license plate lights? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The owner's manual has the instructions for fog light replacement, but it says to take the car to the dealer to replace the license plate bulbs. Does anyone have a DIY for the license plate bulbs or is it really best to have the dealer do it?

The rears are easy as pie (swapped mine to leds and looks very sexy
)
Open the rear hatch, theres a panel in the middle with a small notch at the edges (look carefuly) where you can put in a flat head and wedge it open. Give it a few wedgys (I dunno what to call it) till the panel comes out (it may take some effort but dont be scared to put some umph into it)...then you'll see the bulb holders, just turn it in a direction and pull it out (it may be tricky to get the bulbs out but its doable)
try it out....took me about 5-10 minutes to change the two bulbs.

2021 RDX A SPEC
k, i JUST did the foglamp replacement via the DIY guide on here...
.. replaced the stockies with this:

anyways, the light output is PURE WHITE...! these bulbs are super cheap off ebay for $8 or so... yah i know.. what the cheap?! these same bulbs were in the tsx for 1yr* .. i removed them and put them into the new RDX. of course, i was SUPER careful with install and never touched the glass part of the bulbs. I would recommend these for your fogs if you dont wanna spend a fortune.. just google xd5 on ebay and you'll find them. next project are license plate lights and the drls.
*on the tsx, i didnt have the FOGS on with the headlights ALL the time so that may explain their long life.
