Dim Interior light

Hey Guys,
I have a 2007 RDX that I really like. This morning my wife wanted to start the car and the battery was dead. I noticed after i had boosted it that the interior lights were dim even after the car would start and was fully charged.
I'm assuming that is what is slowly draining that batt... was wondering if there was anyone else that had a similar problem and if so what can i do to fix it.

If your 07 has the original battery, it's most likely time for a new one. You can have Advance Auto check your charging system for free to be sure. Their test unit will identify the faulty component.

OEM batteries are low on power (cold cranking amps). Get one with higher CCA. The battery size is 35 (or 35N at WalMart).

If the new battery doesn't cure the interior lights problem, you might have a problem with a control module.

Wasn't there a known issue with an open circuit on the 2007 RDX? I ask because on mine (just purchased) it seems to take a 2-3 seconds to turn over and start and I had a dead battery issue already. I had a mechanic take a look and he says te battery/alternator look good.

thoughts?
