I'd like to swap my 2007 steering wheel for a 2010 or 2011. Personally I like the size/shape/location of the shifter paddles and I really like the feel of the new Acura steering wheels. I know they look pretty similar, but I've never taken the steering wheel off my car so I'm not sure if the mounting brackets are the same shape. Does anyone have any info on this? I'm also assuming (which I may be totally wrong on) that if I get a 2010-2011 wheel from a non-tech RDX, it'll be plug-and-play-ish.

It should be plug and play. I've swapped my old Honda Prelude's steering with an AP1 (Honda S2000) steering wheel (Best mod hands down!).

But is there a difference? I looked at images and I can't tell a difference in the wheels.

Did they made it all leather in the in the 10 and 11? I hate to say it but Acura went cheap on us and finish the bottom part with plastic vinyl.

mau108 - Good point. I just looked at photos from Acura.com and the steering wheel looks the same. I drove a TSX loaner car and a TL loaner car and their steering wheels are completely new/different...and better. I feel like an idiot...d'oh.

What about a 2011 TSX steering wheel into my '07 RDX? The differences that I saw in the TSX/TL steering wheel are it's completely leather wrapped (in soft leather), the paddle shifters are taller an curve back a little (better grip, and you can access them while holding the bulges on the steering wheel), and it doesn't get as hot in the sun.

DateTSX - I agree. I feel like my RDX wheel is kinda cheap. The vinyl is fading and the leather is all slick/shiny now.
