2007 RDX - 2 years and 5 months
I have had my RDX for 2 years and 5 months now. I did all my oil/filter change in my garage, using FRAM oil filter, and either Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum synthetic.
I also regularly change my airfilter (once every year) and was always surprised how dirty it could get in just one year of usage.
The RDX makes DIY really easy, especially for regular things like oil/filter, airfilter and cabin filter changes.
Recently, I bought some mobil1 and Pennzoil synthetics from Walmart @ $20.00 for 5 quarts! Wow, that is really cheap. That is not too much more than the price of a top quality dino conventional oil.
I have been filling it at 4.78L or 5 quarts. Engine runs smooth.
I also just did a DIY engine "tune up", using first a fuel system treatment by Chevron, and after one tank of the gas filled with that stuff, ran the car through another tank of gasoline filled with STP Fuel system cleaner.
For a short while, the RDX had some early morning starting/idling problem. Now it starts up quick and idle smoothly. I guess after running the car on just gasoline for 2 years, even if it's "top-tier" gas, can cause some fuel injector fouling or combustion chamber deposits.
Anyway, RDX turbo still accelerates smooth and quick. Regular oil/filter change - key.

I have 47k on mine and I use Shell gas. The chevron stuff is the same as my dealership uses every 15k. Works great. I'll try the stp next time, also.

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I had my 2007 Rdx for 3 years now. I already have 93K miles on my car due to my long work commute. I regularly change my oil and get my car maintained. No problems as of yet... What do you guys think? I just worry about the turbo aspect and the life span of my vehicle.. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
