Just great. I finally got my XM radio card in the mail last week & decided to "re-up" the service for the $77 for the year, no re-activation cost. I've been trying since Sun. (03/18) to get it activated. Every time I'd get the programming downloaded to my radio, set the pre-sets for the channels I wanted, I'd turn the key to start the RDX & move it into the garage, all programming would be gone!
Always saying "updating", but nothing happens.
I finally got to speak to a true tech, (after SEVERAL calls to XM!) & he said it sounded like I had to take it back to the dealer to have the XM module taken out & a new one put in! He also mentioned that they've had lots of factory installed XM radio's not working after the freeby period ends & people try to have it re-activated. He didn't mention vehicle models or brands, but he's heard of this a lot. Great. I bitched about paying for something for several days & getting nothing, he credited me 1 month, (at full price!) back to give me time to get this fixed. I'll keep ya posted as to what happens.

 

I have an appointment for Fri. March 30th. They are suppose to have an XM module waiting for me then. I'll keep you all posted as to the outcome.
