OK. So, I've searched the forum and can't find an answer.

Does the 2007 RDX with Tech. have the ability to display the album and/or track title for CD's and DVD's. I have several original CD's and an Audio DVD and in both cases, when I click the Audio button, I can only see it listed as "Disc 6, Track1 , etc.).

I also burnt a copy of a CD that shows the track name, etc. in another car and on the computer, but it doesn't in the RDX.

Thoughts?

 

Are you talking on the top display or on the GPS Nav screen? If it's the latter it should show all titles, folders, etc. (mine does). If you're talking about the top display where it shows A/C temp and so forth then no it doesn't.

 

Thanks. I'm referring to the large nav screen. I would doubt there is something wrong with the radio - rather, I would think it's non-compatible DVD/CDs. Do you know if they should be in a certain format?

 

Some commercial CDs include the song titles and some don't. If you burn a MP3 CD, you can include the information in the song properties.

 

I have had a few show up... Suprised that the DVD A's don't show up either...

 

I have had some CDs provide track info - never on DVD-A (maybe not part of format spec?)

 

Track info can be embedded onto any MP3 burnt CD. You can use Tag & Rename or if you already have iTunes it can be done there as well & free.
