Three quick questions - Voice Control, ELS, & HFL

Hey guys, just had two quick questions and wondering if someone could help me out:

1. I find the voice control button doesn't work until 30-60s after the RDX's started. Is that normal?

2. When I make calls from my Treo650 itself, I can't transfer the call to the RDX until the person on the other end picks up (i.e. I can't transfer the call while it's dialing). It's a bit annoying because they can hear me say "transfer" before I can put the phone down. Am I doing something wrong?

3. I bought a few DVD-As and while the sound is good, it's still a bit weak/hollow unless I crank it past 16. I even have the sub near cranked too. I'd like to keep it around level 13-14...what can I tweak so I can get a richer sound even at those levels?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, after some digging through the forum and calling HFL support, I was able to answer #2. For anyone else curious, if you've made a call from your phone, you can only transfer the call after the person has picked up, NOT when it's ringing (though there are a few select phones that can).

Now about question #1 and #3....anyone want to help a brotha out?

I'm pretty sure my HFL button works as soon as I start the car. I'll double check on the way home tonight though to make sure....

Sorry let me clarify...for question #1, I meant voice control...not HFL. I find the button is completely disabled (not even a beeping sound) 30s-60s after starting the car.

On a sidenote, I noticed it doesn't work when the car is in reverse too.

I just started noticing my voice command does the same thing – I thought it was because I didn’t have my seatbelt on yet and it was punishing me for the violation but next time it did it again even with the seatbelt on. I think the software has to boot and the nav system has to be ready to accept commands before the system will take any at all.
