Hi all,

New member here (but have lurked for a year or so). I have a 2007 RDX Tech Package that I have owned for 3 years, and I am deep enough in repairs now (frustrating--but a story for another day) that I intend on keeping the car for a lot longer.

I've noticed that with the 2010 Facelift, the RDX gets several new features, specifically bluetooth streaming audio, iPod integration and the like. I also know that there has been a lot of discussion on this forum over the years about different ways to accomplish those things in 2007-09 RDXs, and it is something that I've been thinking about as well. I considered MusicLink (despite its many flaws), and I have read the other threads on here suggesting different aftermarket options. I was wondering if anybody knew how the "USB for iPod" system interface in the 2010-12 cars worked, and if there was a way to implement that into older models. It looks like the displays and controls on the dash are all the same.
