Problem with XM - No signal

I'm having a problem receiving XM audio and traffic. It works inside the city, I assume because of ground repeaters (even so the audio cuts out constantly). But as soon as I leave the metro Chicago area I get absolutely no audio or traffic, and have a constant "No Signal" message.

Worked with XM support for a while and they told me it's the radio and take it to the dealer. Would this possibly be a problem with the XM antenna? It seems others have had similar problems and had the dealer replace the antenna - but I'm not under warranty.

Anyone?

From my searching, I don't think I'm the first to have this problem. Seems like it could be a faulty wire to the XM antenna. Can someone tell me where the wiring runs inside the car?

I reset the radio by pulling the battery for an hour (while installing my CP-e intake....heheheh) as that seemed to fix the XM problem for some people. Unfortunately, it did nothing for me.

I've narrowed this down to likely a problem with the antenna. Hopefully only a loose connection somewhere.

I really don't want to pay the dealer for a couple hours if this is something I can get to myself. If someone could tell me where to trace the antenna, that would be soo helpful.

Anyone?? Please?
