Hi All,

I wanted to ask if anyone had use this video converter on the RDX to play dvd movies yet.

I ask the sales and they advise that i would also need a after market dvd players in additional to their unit.

Navtool is a pretty good brand. i had this on my TL but ended up selling it due to my dvd player crapping out and not being able to source a reasonable one. kinda wish i didnt sell it but i plan to get this for my wife RDX as well. just need da funds....go for it and let us know how you like it

btw: u WILL need an external dvd player for the unit in order to watch movies. as for the sound, u can use the "aux-in" plug on the rdx's headunit

that might be nice with an ipod/phone for digital copies...send video through this, audio through USA-Spec.. wonder if they are different "plugs" or if the two need to use the same plugs in the car. if thats the case it wouldn't work.

It would need to use a different RCA out from an ipod to the aux in on the usa-spec..

probably better to just get an ipad and use that with the usa-spec
