PDF link to nav/voice command manual?
Don't know why the Auto industry still like to do things with paper. Wouldn't is save a lot of money and trees to just have the electronic version of the manual? Also, for cars with Nav displays, it would be nice if I could just index the manual from the display. Just a thought.
In the case of the nav manual, somehow I just don't think that's what it is. The actual RDX manual is in PDF form and online. It just seems to me that there's some other reason we can't get the nav manual - like copyright issues with Alpine - but that's purely speculation.
I agree with you in general though. I don't know why OEM car electronics are SOOOOO far out of line with the rest of the consumer electronics industry. You'd think that we'd have the 'iCar' by now. I was blown away when I heard how primative the iPod interface is...apparently it doesn't even use the nav display. What a waste. The MP3 capabilities in this thing are amazingly primitive as well. How much work would it be to include capabilities you can even find in a $50 mp3 player?
