New LG Phones and Handsfreelink

Has anyone tried the new LG Venus or Voyager with the RDX handsfreelink? How about the Moto Razr2? I'm about due for an upgrade, but those particular phones are 'in testing'. In fact, some of the phones on the 'in testing' list have been there for months. Maybe I'm missing something, but it doesn't seem like the process should take very long. I'm beginning to wonder if the folks at Acura are ever going to get their asses in gear and update the list...

My V3 RAZR works great... I would totally expect the RAZR2 to have no problems. My phone was still in testing when I bought my RDX but it paired right up. It brings all the info to the MID (batt life/signal strength etc). My wife has a Sanyo and it's works great as well but doesn't bring all the info like batt life to the display.

Thanks, but I guess I'm not willing to take the chance on a phone that I can't exchange. I'd like to think the RAZR2 would work as well, but if you'll notice, even the new version of the Chocolate doesn't work whereas the old version was 100% compatible.

I guess I'm just going to wait and see...

We can get our LG Chocolate to link but the link does not stay or reconnect after the first disconnect. You have to pair it each time you want to use it. No problem with the RAZR or my two other SE phones. I'm convinced while LG and Samsung makes nice phones, they're crap when it comes to compatibility with the rest of the world. I've had BT connectivities problems with my last Samsung phone and swore never to buy another Samsung phone again. Chalk LG to the board as well.

I work for Verizon and help people set those two phones up all of the time. Motorola's generally work with any bluetooth better than LG, however both work very well. LG Voyager is a much nicer phone!

Neither phone is compatible with HFL. Check the website for details.
