My very first post... Hello all!

I just bought a used 2007 RDX with Tech, picking it up Tuesday.
I noticed it has a large scuff on the LCD screen, I purchased a sheet of Anti-glare screen protector and need to cut it down to the proper size, I know due to the anti-glare and silicon on the screen protector it will make the scuff magically vanish and provide a better view of the screen in sunlight.

Can someone please measure the exact screen height and width, I am bored and would like to cut it to size prior to picking it up Tuesday, that and the scuff is going to stare at me all the way home.

Can't understand WHY someone who hasn't managed to get not so much as a hairline scratch on the entire interior would use the space in front of the LCD screen as a ledge to place something on, the scuff is perfectly horizontal about 2" long and looks like it was caused over an extended period of time.

Thank you for the link, I will look into their coated plexi but for now I would like to use the anti-glare sheet I bought which is just a standard protective silicone overlay.

Do you know the dimensions you cut yours to? was the plexi just placed on top of the stock screen that is showing or did the plexi extend under the dash bezel?

Littleblazer, Can I ask which one you ordered (product, size, thickness) and how it was installed. Was it just place on top of the screen to cover the scratches or did you have to remove the unit and the original protective screen that is on it.

Just looking for details on the product and install procedure, the screen protector thing isn't working for me. If you could assist that would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I remove the unit and the original protective screen.I forgot the size and thickness...sorry. You have to use double side tape to replace new screen.
You have to work in dust free area. Good luck

Was it difficult to remove the nav unit, how does the dash come apart to remove it? also how did you get the old screen off, is it easily removed or does it need to be cut off?

If you recall the steps to remove unit and replace the screen would it be possible to share the procedure?

Screen has double tape on it. Dash come apart by looking in to Acura part online INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH (DRIVER SIDE)

Techplastcoated.com wanted over $170 for a 10" x10" piece, needless to say I didn't order. littleblazer, was yours that much or am I asking for the wrong product. All they said was it is coated on both sides and has anti-glare and is scratch resistant.
