Guys I opened up the dvd to see what version I have

I have 4.55a but mine says Canada and northern USA. I know you guys down south have USA and southern Canada.

Where can I find the disc for canada?

Are all the Acura navigation disc the same for all car models? There is a 4.62 version available on Torrent for the TL.

 

Anybody know what major improvements are there on the 4.62 disk compared to the version that came on the RDX?

 

It seems after I upgraded to 4.62 the color in my backup camera are more vivid. When I was using 4.55 they were dull and not bright. I may be crazy but that's what I noticed right off the back. Also I find it easier to search the chains- WaWa, Wachovia, etc, etc....

 

Another question ... if you use the 4.62 Disc, can you go back to the 4.55 disk? Just don't feel comfortable taking the car to the dealer for service with a copy of the 4.62 Disc in the Navi.

 

In general, no, you cannot go back. You might be able to force a download via the service menu.

And the dealer won't care. They won't even look, unless you're having your nav unit itself serviced.
