MP3 CD Problem - Sound glitches

I burned an MP3 CD this weekend and for the most part it works well. But on certain songs, the audio system starts messing up and the songs sound garbled.

At first I thought I did a bad burn so I took the CD back in and played it on a PC (Windows Media Player), Mac (iTunes), and my Treo650 (Core Media Player), and those "problem tracks" played fine.

I don't think it's a bitrate thing...because it's only happening on select tracks while the other ripped tracks from the same album work fine. Any ideas on what's wrong?

Try turning Dolby PLII off if it is on.

Thanks Sasair but no-go. I'm going to try re-burning the disc and hopefully it'll play better. Have you had any glitches at all? Or have MP3 CDs played completely smooth for you?

Ok I tried burning again on my Mac and it glitched again. I switched over to my old PC and burned through Nero and it finally worked!

Kind of a pain that I have to drag all my MP3s over to another computer just to make a CD but I'm just glad it's not the RDX. Any Mac users out there who can tell me what they use to burn?

I use ITunes to burn MP3 CDs on my PC and they sound great in my RDX. I think ITunes is available for those Macs, too.

Thanks johnny99. I'll give iTunes a shot on the next disc. New iPods are out today so this all might be a moot point. =)
