Has anyone had problems with the Chocholate phone working with RDX's HFL?
My new phone pairs but HFL does not recognize names to dial.
Spoken numbers can be dialed, though, but who remembers phone numbers now days?
Any input is appreciated.

BTW, it's software version is T85VZG06 with "Bluetooth Lib" version of Q303.02.07.

I think you need to program the name dialing into the HFL. It does not use the phonebook in your phone.

 

What exactly is "name dialing" into the HFL is and how is it done?

The owner's manual gives great instructions on how to do this. I set up name dialing in just a couple of minutes. Press the HFL button, say Phonebook and follow the prompts. It will allow you to set it up very easily.

You can also put phone numbers in your nav system address book and dial through that interface.
