iPhone with RDX
I had a 3GS and now a 4S from AT&T, and both worked perfectly with my '07 RDX. The only time it gives me trouble is when I try to connect 3 bluetooth devices at once. (RDX HFL, Bluetrip AUX & Jabra Cruiser2 - which it actually does successfully on occasion...)
Why do I do it? ...HFL for calls over the audio system, Bluetrip for music over the audio system, and the Jabra to use the iPhone's phone book. When it does work, the iPhone tends to get confused as to where audio should be sent.
Edit: I almost forgot. The signal strength meter on the 4S is a bit wonky. It was always instantly accurate on my 3GS, but on the 4S, the phone seems to stop updating it after a period of inactivity. After that point, when you hit the HFL button, it displays whatever the signal strength was when it stopped updating, not the current signal strength. From what I can tell, this has nothing to do with the HFL, because it happens with just the phone. As soon as I hit the home button, I can see the signal strength very slowly change. I put a couple of threads out on the Apple forums, but never got any good answers:

No pics, I'll get some later.

The transmitter is a Kiwi WiFi+iMFD.
Plugged into the obdII port, moved the connecter inside the dash, ran the wire under the mat and up at the right side of drivers seat into center console. The on off switch is on the end of the transmitter.
You then set up a wireless network to your phone, running an app for it. There are many different apps. I use REV2.
Right now I use only the wireless connection, which is limited to the obd info. In the future I want to add oil temp and pressure via the iMFD port. You can add sensor modules and sensors fairly cheap.
Also has a scan tool, data logging, track day, whp, tq... and a list of other features.
Most of all it is nice to see real numbers instead of un-indexed swinging needles for ect and boost.
I've been watching boost, ect, timing adv, SB1 fuel trim, and LB1 fuel trim. I'm still learning to use it.
The display is one 2" gauge in the center of the screen, and 4 smaller read-outs, 1 in each corner. You control which one is displayed in the center.
The corner read-outs are harder to see on the fly.
Someone mentioned using a pad to overcome that problem with a bigger display.
There are cheaper ways of getting there, but if you already have an iphone or pad and want to use it, the compatible ones are limited.
wspy, what other questions do you have about it?

Carbon2008RDX - this may or may not help; however, I have an iPhone 4 working well with a 2009 Tech RDX. I assume Acura would have re-used as many components as possible between 2008 non-Tech and 2009 Tech...so I would be led to believe that an iPhone could work with your ride!
