I own the Tech Package 2011 RDX. The Steering Wheel audio controls except the volume do not work for my iPhone. I cant change a track etc. Any suggestions?

 

Which iPhone? As a reference, I have a Nano plugged into the USB port (4th or 5th gen I think...a few years old) and all the controls do what they're supposed to do. When my wife plugs in her iPhone 6s and listens to Spotify, I can skip songs with the steering wheel controls.

 

Sorry I should have been more explicit. I have both iPhone 6Plus and iPhone 5s. The issue arises when I play my music through Blue Tooth. I dont plug it through the wire.

 

I should have been as well - she plugs in her phone to charge, but Spotify is still via bluetooth. No clue why I even mentioned plugging it in as it has no bearing on the issue at hand. haha
